Is Cathode free?
Yes. The editor is free, and the free plan includes some agent requests so you can try designing with it. Pro gives you far more.
Does it work with my existing projects?
Yes. Cathode opens KiCad projects as they are, with your libraries and design rules, and saves standard KiCad files.
What counts as an agent request?
Anything you ask the agent to do, like drawing a schematic, placing parts or rerouting a net. Designing a whole board uses more than a small edit.
What happens when I reach my limit?
The agent pauses until your limit resets. On Pro you can add funds to keep going. Editing by hand is never limited.
